If you choose, the exhaust pipe may be painted with high-temp engine paint of your choice.
The 2.5" hose will attach to the throttle body. The 2.5" pipe will insert into the rubber hose.
The Cone filter clamps onto the widened 3+" part of the pipe. All insert points need a hose clamp.
Remove the air cleaner assembly with a 1/2" ratchet. Leave the short rubber hose connecting the
old assembly to the valve cover. You will attach the new pvc filter to the end of this. This is
not the only filter that will fit, but it works and it's cheap.
Note: The cone filters are not meant for emission controlled vehicles.
