• 2.5" rubber hose with 90 degree bend (cut original intake hose works great)
• 2.5"x~16" exhaust pipe with a ~45 degree bend (10-$15)
• other end must be widened to 3+" (if using the RU-3130 filter)
• 3 hose clamps ($2)
• K&N Cone Filter #RU-3130 ($31 from Summit Racing)
• 1200 degree engine paint for exhaust pipe ($5 from Wal Mart)
• PCV filter from Advance Auto Parts #B44843

If you choose, the exhaust pipe may be painted with high-temp engine paint of your choice.
The 2.5" hose will attach to the throttle body. The 2.5" pipe will insert into the rubber hose. The Cone filter clamps onto the widened 3+" part of the pipe. All insert points need a hose clamp.
Remove the air cleaner assembly with a 1/2" ratchet. Leave the short rubber hose connecting the old assembly to the valve cover. You will attach the new pvc filter to the end of this. This is not the only filter that will fit, but it works and it's cheap.

Note: The cone filters are not meant for emission controlled vehicles.
However: These are tests done on a 1993 V6 Lebaron with the cone filter and 52mm tb:

• Hydrocarbons: Limit- 123 ppm / Reading- 25 ppm
• Carbon Monoxide: Limit- 0.69% / Reading- 0.02%
• Nitrogen Oxide: Limit- 1363 ppm / Reading- 126 ppm
